Exercise and Arthritis
Many people with arthritis don’t exercise because they are worried it will increase their pain, or they are unsure what type of exercise to do.
But exercise can have enormous benefits for people with arthritis, including better joint mobility, stronger muscles and bones, improved energy levels and general wellbeing.
A booklet on Exercise and Arthritis and fact sheets on Exercise and Ankylosing Spondylitis, Exercise and Osteoarthritis, and Exercise and Rheumatoid Arthritis were specially developed for World Arthritis Day 2006 and can be viewed or downloaded in English from this site. Just click on the file to open them.
