After I got the diagnosis ”arthritis” I could not return to my job in patient care. A job I have always been incredible fond of. I have been very active in my field. I got my dismissal, but would not accept it. I wanted a life with dignity as before I got the diagnosis. I wrote to the management. I had qualifications from my job in patient care that could be used in another way. They employed me again in a specially designed job. Now I work in the reception (the section for acute apoplexy). My life became good again. It is wonderful to go to work every day and be together with all the colleagues. It has meant everything to me.
