Throughout my life I have received Occupational Therapy treatment for my arthritis, so it seemed inevitable that I chose this as my career. I worked very hard for 3 years at university, having to leave 2nd year early for a hip replacement and have my 2nd hip replaced shortly after graduation. I feel proud that I graduated on time and obtained my first clinical post as an Occupational Therapist less than 1 year after my 2nd replacement. I am currently working as an OT in orthopaedics (hips & knees) and the picture shows me with my colleagues. My team are very supportive and i enjoy being an OT and being able to help people - help just like I have received for most of my life.
