Tool Kit for National Organisations
‘Let’s Work Together’ tool kit 2009 for national organisations
This tool kit focuses on paid and voluntary employment and provides three modules with template materials to help people with rheumatic diseases:
- Find a job
- Remain employed
- Re-enter the work place after time off
There are guidelines for national organisations of PARE on how to adapt and translate the template materials in each module for use in their countries and how to create an advisory panel with representatives from employers’ and other stakeholder organisations to help adapt the support materials in each module.
The modules provide support materials for use by:
Module 1: Young people with rheumatic diseases entering the workplace for the first time
Module 2: People already in work when they develop a rheumatic disease
Module 3: Older people with rheumatic diseases re-entering the workplace after rehabilitation
The materials are currently being developed, but for a sneak preview of some of the support materials in English click here.
Once the materials are finalised, if you are a national organisation of PARE you will be able to access the introduction and guidelines for developing the modules and the support material templates for translation and production from a password protected area of this site. Finalised materials are expected at the end of 2009.
